Things that don't fit the preferred narrative

But I thought the Tea Party movement was filled with ignernt hillbillies?
Here's The New York Times:

Tea Party supporters are wealthier and more well-educated than the general public, and are no more or less afraid of falling into a lower socioeconomic class, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.

Not hillbillies: angry old white people. Since 63% get most of their news from Fox, you can draw your own conclusions about ignorant.

Fox News, Fox News, Fox News....
To paraphrase Voltare, if Fox News did not exist, Obama would have to invent it.

Fox News, Fox News, Fox News...

Doesn't really address the point, does it, especially since Fox has been around since 1996.

Let's ignore Sir Rupert and instead look at the man Murdoch hired as CEO: Roger Ailes.

Ailes worked as a political consultant for Nixon, Reagan, and Bush Senior before heading Fox.

Murdoch's son-in-law was recently quoted as saying, "I am by no means alone within the family or the company in being ashamed and sickened by Roger Ailes's horrendous and sustained disregard of the journalistic standards that News Corporation, its founder and every other global media business aspires to."

Even Sir Rupert recently came out and said, "I don’t think we should be supporting the Tea Party or any other party," then promptly jerked Sean Hannity home from a planned Tea Party appearance.

You know it's bad when even the Murdock family has started to grumble.

But, to use your line, this doesn't really fit your preferred narrative, does it?

But I suspect you know all that.
